Had to go out of town for a while. Lots of business to take care of on the road. The heat was working just fine when we left, but when Mr returned home it wasn't working at all. Thankfully the local temps have been in the 40's for most of the period we were gone, so the pipes all survived just fine, and we didn't have to spend $400 for three weeks of oil to heat the house. On the negative side, it also means that the burner was not burning fuel....so we obviously have a burner problem right now. Supposedly it is not much of a problem, that is good news under any measurement. Lets hope that proves true!
Karnac on the tv news says snow is coming...it should be pretty, I hope it leaves as quickly as it will come. I am so done with winter, and it is only January 28. Spring cannot come soon enough. That is one of the blessings of this climate, a fast early spring. I am looking forward to it. There is much to be done!
