Yesterday was a big day with a lot of work done and a big step accomplished. Mr had some help from generous and wonderful friends DS and JG. They dug out a trench under the sills of the house and poured new concrete footings. It was a huge day long event. They worked very hard for very long...Hooray!Their work was a wonderful gift and moves us towards a new kitchen floor which is very meaningful to me, because it makes big family and friends dinners possible, and a lot more probable. Heading for normacy in this old farm house is the goal and this will make life a lot more conventional. I am a boring sort of person that way. I like normal. Here are some pictures of the progress.
