Calm beauty after the storm...

On days like this, cabin fever sets in quickly. Often just a ride in the car to see what is happening in the small towns around us will give me the charge I need to calm down. Visiting the local park seems to open the world up to me, so I gravitate towards the park for a fix of nature... with a different light exposure. Many artists obsess about light and its effects on the landscape. I personally am one of these artists. I enjoy seeing the changes that come with different weather conditions, times of day, and seasons. Capturing these changes in photographs and artworks, is a small joy.
