Kitchen changes, cabinet pull outs

Hooray, things are improving on the kitchen front. The little heater is doing its job and that seems to have stabilized the heat in the whole house. It has cut down or eliminated drafts. I was thinking that the house is haunted and that ghosts were sitting on my lap, every now and then. I have rejected that idea now that I can see the problem was that the kitchen had no heat of its own and it sucked heat from the rooms around it. That heat siphoning caused constant and painful drafts. The drafts have stopped now that the silly little heater has been hooked up again. It has made life a lot more comfortable.

Now our other improvement is customized cabinets. Mr has built some slide out shelves, or drawers, for the pots in the big four foot cabinet. Only the bottom ones are pulling out for right now, but it is still a big improvement. It makes the storage space in there much more accessible. Doing the top shelves will really improve things, but he says that that is going to take more engineering that he is unwilling to do right now. I am quite grateful for any improvement.
