A short sweet addition to the blog today. Mr has finished and installed his new screen door. It looks quite nice and is much more solid than the one it replaced. It is being fit to the opening as if it were custom made shoes. Here's a couple of shots of the project. 
The gardens are coming along nicely. I am very grateful. They are lifting my spirits and paying me back dividends for all of my work and efforts. Yesterday the Sundrops opened. They made the yard look sunny though it was an overcast day, what an infusion of bright warm color. I love it! 
Things are filling in nicely. The Sundrops are backing up to the Black Eyed Suzies Rudebeckia, the combination is pleasing. The Echinaceas are coming up fast behind, I have a trio of them, each different.
I am looking forward to them because they were newly planted by me last summer so I am glad to see that they survived the winter. Some other plantings from last summer have also popped up. I forgot I planted them so I was thrilled to see their return. Something tells me I shouuld be keeping a garden log!
