Oh my, I just can not stop feeling so much better about this place over the last couple of days. Choosing the right improvement at the right time is such a fortuitous decision. Not really all that fortuitous. Owning an old house that is being restored is nothing but a stack of decisions that always have to be made, and too often enough have to be made quickly. This one was a long time in consideration, but boy it was the move to make at this time. The next few months are going to be spent indoors, so indoors is what needs to improved to feel better...and it does already!
What an aesthetic improvement these painted floors are! It just feels so much brighter, cleaner and happier in here with some light and reflections. The peeling brown painted floors were just too painful to look at let alone have to exist within. I'll post some pix here to show the changes...love it...at least for now!

The pictures aren't great, but boy it just feels so much better! Simply paint can make a huge difference...and for $24 a gallon you can change you world!
