The weather is not cooperating with home improvements. When the single digit temps rolled back in, the ice came with it. Ice is covering the shores and dripping off everything within a short distance from the waves. The wind was howling all night, it just chills me to the bone. Living along the shore has its benefits and its discomforts. Winter can be very painful, and it has been painful for the last few days.

Freezing cold winds and weather didn't stop Mr from working more miracles today. As the wind howled he put the place back together and it looks great. Great is a relative term, since it didn't look so great to begin with. Even though it is not a beauty, it is looking a lot better than when renovations started. Things are definitely looking up with the walls closed up. The air leaks are closed and the heat is staying in the house. What's not to like about a warm house? We have been waiting for that for a long time. Once the shingles are back on we will look pretty close to normal. Here are some pix of today's work.
