Renovation, kitchen home improvements

Its been a long time since I posted. There has been a project happening, but no photos to go with it. The house lifting and wall repairs caused some large cracks in the sheetrock. These cracks needed repair, they were rather wide, so they would be difficult to fill with joint compound. Mr removed the cracked boards and replaced them with new ones, to avoid having to do repeated repairs. Replacing the sheetrock boards restored the walls to a solid smooth surface. This was deemed a more permanent repair.

In order to do these repairs, cabinets had to be removed from the walls, and appliances removed from their hookups, to expose the wall. Removing the wall boards allowed the addition of some lighting into the kitchen.  The new lights illuminate a dark corner which is a very nice improvement.
