Water treatment, hydrogen peroxide treatment
Whew, what a difference a day makes. Good water is becoming easier to procure around here. The new hydrogen peroxide injection system seems to have hit a bullseye. We have crystal clear water, and its amazing. Here take a look at what a glass of water right out of the faucet The dishes are coming out of the dishwasher in a mostly white condition. I think they will clean up fully with some hand scrubbing. The laundry has come out of the machines stain free. That is a pleasant new experience! The toilets cleaned up much more easily than anticipated. Walking into the bathroom and seeing gleaming fixtures was startling. It is amazing how much the little things matter when you don't enjoy them on a daily basis. I haven't had a smell free shower experience here yet. I look forward to that!
So things are definitely looking up around here. It has to have increased our resale value immensely. I wish I could use that treated water to water my garden. My poor herbs were covered with iron last season. That is a bit unappetizing so I didn't get to use them in my cooking as much as I wanted to. I think the height of the sprayers was too far above the plants, bathing them, rather than the soil with water. This year we have to be sure to lower the sprinkler head to keep the color better on the plants.
All in all, at this point, it seems to be worth the trouble it took to procure this system.
