I sure am having fun with the hummingbird s. I went away for a few days and Mr took over the feeding duties. He was even more taken with our garden residents, than my effusive self! I just can't help myself. My tired bones sit on the concrete front steps waiting for the onslaught of diners. Much like sitting on an aircraft carrier during WWII, you have to watch the air for oncoming dive bombers. Awesome is an inadequate word to describe their antics. Sublime body control might be more accurate. It is mind boggling, since humans couldn't even conceive of performing these feats.
Sitting there gives me a good viewpoint for photographing the cast of characters, though my equipment is not up to the task. I just snap the shutter and hope for the best. I'll share just a few of the snapshots here. I have many, so they will course through my bloggings over the summer. Please come back to see more!
